Abstract
Objective To observe the changes of interleukin-6(IL-6),serum ferritin(SF),serum transferrin(sTf) and prostate specific antigen (PSA) in prostate cancer patients with bone metastasis.Methods Seventy-nine cases of prostate cancer with bone metastasis,100 cases of prostate cancer without bone metastasis,and 100 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)were included in this study.Fasting venous blood was collected and serum was isolated.Enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) was used to determine the contents of IL-6,SF,sTf and PSA.Results The contents of IL-6,SF,sTf and PSA were (12.6 ± 7.1) μ g/L,(132.0 ± 15.6) ng/ L,(7.5 ± 3.3) μ g/L and (14.5 ± 5.6) μ g/L in prostate cancer patients without bone metastasis.They were (25.3 ± 8.2) μ g/L,(293.0 ± 65.4) ng/L,(4.9 ± 3.0) μ g/L,(190.1 ± 70.3) μ g/L in prostate cancer patients with bone metastasis.They were (10.1 ± 5.5) μ g/L,(121.0 ± 7.1)ng/L,(8.3 ± 3.4) μ g/L and (5.6 ± 3.7) μ g/L in BPH group.There was significant difference between prostate cancer with bone metastasis group and protate cancer without bone metastasis group or BPH group(P<0.05).In prostate cancer with bone metastasis group,PSA was significantly correlated with the contents of IL-6,SF and sTf,with the correlation coefficients being 0.289,0.320 and-0.342 respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion The contents of IL-6,SF and PSA increased and sTf decreased in prostate cancer with bone metastasis.They may be conductive to reflect bone metastasis of prostate cancer patients,therefore they have important values to the early diagnosis of bone metastasis in prostate cancer patients.关键词
