Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Potential Chromene-Derived Dye
摘要
Abstract
A chromene-derived bright red compound N'-{1-[7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl]ethylidene}benzohydrazide(compound 2)was synthesized.Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the compound belonged to the orthorhombic P2(1)2(1)2 space group. Two N2—H …O1 hydrogen bonds were formed intramolecularly by ionic zwitterionic resonance structures of the amide bond. The intramolecular hydrogen bonds rendered the benzene ring and the chromene ring on both sides almost coplanar,of a dihedral angle of only 3.0(1)o,suggesting that the compound could be a potential dye molecule.关键词
