Functional Mechanisms of Montmorillonite and Its Application in Poultry Production
摘要
Abstract
Montmorillonite, a kind of natural aluminosilicate mineral, has laminated crystal structure. It has multiple bio?functions, such as adsorbing of mycotoxins, heavy metals and bacteria, repairing and protecting the digestive tract mucosa, and preventing and controlling diarrhea. Moreover, modified montmorillonite has anti?microbial effects. It is reported that montmorillonite can increase production performance of animals, im?prove production quality,and promote intestinal health. This paper elaborated montmorillonite's physicochemi?cal property, modification methods, main functions and mechanisms and summarized the latest research find?ings on the application of montmorillonite in poultry production.关键词
