Impact of Humble Leadership on Employee Voice Behavior——Test of Integrative Model of Mediation and Moderation

Abstract
In the increasingly complex business environment, employee voice is the positive energy that can effectively improve organizational effectiveness. However, under the influence of oriental philosophy, not all employees are happy to offer advice. Based on the analysis of the survey data collected form 207 superior-subordinate matched samples in IT companies, this paper explores the influence of humble leadership on employee voice behavior. After controlling the effects of demographic variables, the study finds that: humble leadership has a significant positive impact on employees' psychological safety and voice behavior; psychological safety plays a partial mediating role between humble leadership and prohibitive voice; psychological safety plays a full mediating role between humble leadership and facilitative voice; humble leadership positively regulates the influence of psychological safety on the promotive voice.关键词
