Preparation of Aerogel/Expanded Perlite and Effect of Its Microstructure on Thermal Conductivity
摘要
Abstract
A thermal insulation material aerogel/expanded perlite(AEP)composite was prepared by using dipping-absorbing method to absorb SiO 2hydrosol into the porous structure of expanded perlite (EP)and drying at ambient pressure after geling, ageing and post-processing.The preparation technologies of AEP were explored,and the thermal conductivity and microstructures were characterized by transient hot-wire method and scanning electron microscope respectively.The results reveal that the aerogel could be effectively synthesized in porous structure of EP, and aerogel and EP both show fairly good chemical stability.The thermal conductivity of AEP decreases by 20%-31%than EP because of the aerogel filling and adjusting the pore structures of EP.And the post-processing such as solvent replacement and surface modification are important for synthesizing the aerogel in porous structure of EP and decreasing the thermal conductivity of AEP.关键词
