Abstract

Taking the bamboo shoots of Yingde Dendrocalamus latiflorus,Tianlin D.latiflorus,D.asper, Dendrocalamopsis beecheyana,D.yunnanicus,Bambusa pervariabilis×Dendrocalamopsis grandis 30#,B. pervariabilis×Dendrocalamopsis grandis 6#,D.giganteus,D.valida as research materials,cutting experi-ments were conducted in nursery.Results showed that all the bamboo species began to sprout from the 13th to 21th day after cutting,and the peak period of germination rate was from the 20th to 40th day.Three months af-ter cutting,the cuttage survival rate and seedling rate of D.beecheyana,B.pervariabilis×Dendrocalamopsis grandis 30#,D.asper,Yingde D.latiflorus was relatively high,so these four kinds of bamboo were suitable for cutting propagation. The survival coefficient of B.pervariabilis× Dendrocalamopsis grandis 30#,D. asper,D.yunnanicus,Yingde D.latiflorus had significantly positive correlation with diameter of shoots and culm wall thickness,which indicated that the survival rate of cuttings was high with thick culm wall.The bud length of D.asper,D.yunnanicus,Tianlin D.latiflorus,B.pervariabilis×Dendrocalamopsis grandis 30# was positively related to the diameter of shoot,which showed that the selection of sturdy branches was good for the cutting seedling of these bamboo species,and the qualified seeding rate was high.
