Abstract
This paper presents an effort to explore the law underlying the fault distribution and oil and gas migration in Longhupao area.The research building on the comprehensive interpretation of 3D seismic data is focused on cross-section restoration using the balanced section technology to identify the structural development history and the characteristics behind fault evolution in this area.The results show that the Longhupao area has undergone a complete tectonic evolution sequence of the extensional basin and three periods of distinct differences in structural characteristics,such as the vertical depression,de-pression,and inversion; the four faults of J134, J101, J129 and J94 have developed into oil source faults,which are favorable areas for oil and gas accumulation;the favorable area of the directional well is located in the north of the Longhupao anticline,and the Saertu and the grapevine oil layers have devel-oped micro structure at the edge of the fracture;the preferred potential area is located on the west side of the downward disc of the fault.The research may provide a basis for the oil and gas exploitation and the well position deployment in the Longhupao area.关键词
