Abstract

PY-GC-MS(pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry)technique was used to analyze the compounds from the heartwood and sapwood of Dalbergia odorifera under the condition of fast pyrolysis at middle temperature. Through the fast pyrolysis of the heartwood and sapwood of D. odorifera,a large amount of small-molecule aldehydes,ketones and acids were ob-tained, and the content of small-molecule compounds accounted for over 40% of all fast-pyrolysis compounds. Among the fast-pyrolysis compounds, the anhydrosugars were mainly levoglucose; the phenolic compounds mainly came from the pyrolysis of lig-nin, and their content accounted for 22.92% and 24.46% of all fast-pyrolysis compounds of heartwood and sapwood of D. odorif-era, respectively. There was a certain amount of extract components(mainly being nerolidol)in the fast-pyrolysis compounds of heartwood of D. odorifera, while they were not found in the fast-pyrolysis compounds of sapwood of D. odorifera.
