摘要

Abstract

The dyeing properties of benzothiophenone methine type C.I. disperse blue 354 and its color fastness under different shaping processes were studied. The results showed that: λmaxof C.I. disperse blue 354 was 620 nm, metal ions in dyeing bath would affect the brightness of dyes, the best dyeing pH value was 4 and the dyeing pH was between 4~5 generally. Due to the high interaction energy of π-π stacking among C.I. disperse blue 354 molecules, the dye had a poor migration and needed a higher initial dyeing temperature which was usually set at 135 ℃. All fastnesses of C.I. disperse blue 354 exhibited the grades of 4~5, excepting for sublimation fastness grades with 3~4. The maximum adsorption ca-pacity for the dye was at its concentration of 8%.
