Abstract
Houttuynia cordata thumbnatural dye was used in dyeing of silk fabric. The different pH of aqueous solu-tions and different volume fractions of ethanol, ethyl acetate and methanol were used as extractants to treat houttuynia cordata thumb. The UV absorption curves of each extracts and the K/S values of silk fabrics were compared for deter-mining the optimum extractant. The FT-IR curves of silk fabric dyeing with different extraction times of houttuynia cor-data thumb were studied. The results indicated that the best pH of extraction was 9 and the optimum extractant was 40% ethanol. The extraction only for one time in order to obtain higher purity, which was beneficialto dye.关键词
