摘要

Abstract

Numerous studies are focused on the application of active compounds in natural fruits and vegetables for prevention and treatment of tumor.Capsaicin has the prevention and the anti-tumor effect,which is a kind of alkaloid found in pepper cortex.Mechanism of its anti-tumor effect is complex.It cause cell cycle arrest,metabolic inhibition,tumor necrosis,apoptosis and autophagy,anti-angiogenesis and reduce the metastasis of cancer cells mainly by targeting at the activation of capsaiein receptor or through other signaling pathways.Capsaicin has the anti-tumor effect on kinds of tumor so that capsaicin could be used as a potential drug for cancer prevention and treatment,especially in combination with other anticancer drugs.There would be wide application prospect.In this paper,the research progress of capsaicin prevention and anti-tumor mechanism is discussed.
