摘要

Abstract

The quick start-up and recovery performance of an anaerobic ammonia oxidation (ANAMMOX) filtering reactor after substrate inhibition was studied by using an upflow anaero bic sludge bed (UASB) loaded with shale ceramsite.The results indicate that the ANAMMOX reactor could be set up at the 116 th day,and the volume substrate nitrogen removal rate (NRR) was above 0.5 kgN · m-3 · d-1.During whole operation,the ANAMMOX filtering reactor exhibited higher tolerance for free ammonia (FA) and free nitrous acid (FNA) than granular sludge ANAMMOX reactor.The decrease in FA and FNA by decreasing influent substrate concentration could efficiently recover purification performance,and longer hydraulic retention time (HRT) was beneficial to this recovery.However,the tolerance ability of ANAMMOX bacteria against FA and FNA was decreased after inhibition.
