Study on Numerical Simulation of Expanding Solvent-Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage

Abstract
The development effects of steam assisted gravity drainage(SAGD)and expanding solvent-steam assisted gravity drainage (ES-SAGD)are compared through numerical simulation,the action mechanism of solvent is elaborated,and the influences of the type, the injection amount and the injection timing of solvent on the development effect of ES-SAGD are analyzed.The results show that the injection of hydrocarbon solvents can make the dissolution viscosity-reducing effect of solvent combine with the heating viscosity-reduc-ing of steam on heavy oil,to accelerate the development of steam chamber,increase the production of oil wells and reduce energy con-sumption;the production-increasing effect of the alkane solvents whose saturated steam temperature is close to the temperature of steam is more obvious;increasing the injection amount of solvent can enhance oil recovery factor but reduce the heating viscosity-reducing effect of steam and increase the loss of solvent,and therefore there is an optimum injection amount of solvent;it is more conducive to dissolve and dilute heavy oil to inject solvent after the steam chamber to spread to the top of the reservoir,to stop the injection of solvent in the late period of production can improve the recovery of solvent and economic efficiency.关键词
