Abstract
Objective To analysis of vacuum sealing drainage for skin graft in patients with congenital syndactyly of the hand. Methods 12 children(16 hands) with congenital syndactyly of the hand were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, 8 hands in each group. All children required for digits separation, web space reconstruction and skin grafting. The experimental group received vacuum sealing drainage, while the control group received tie-over bolster dressing. We analyzed and compared the necrosis rate of skin graft in the two groups 10 days postoperatively. Results The skin graft of the children in the experimental group survived well, and the necrosis rate of skin graft was 1.82%. The skin graft in the control group appeared to be defective or necrotic, and the necrosis rate of skin graft was 12.05%.The necrosis rate was lower in the experimental group than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Vacuum sealing drainage is a good choice for skin graft in patients with congenital syndactyly of the hand and worth popularizing in the clinical speciality.关键词
