Combination of Brow-lift (or Brow-drop) Surgery and Musculus Orbicularis Oculi Suspension in Treatment of Upper Eyelid Laxity and Crow's Feet

Abstract
Objective To explore the outcome of upper eyelid laxity and crow's feet treatment by combination of brow-lift (or brow-drop) surgery and musculus orbicularis oculi suspension. Methods From May 2012 to December 2016, 58 cases were treated by this procedure. The brow-lift, brow-drop and brow-cut surgeries were used respectively to correct the upper eyelid laxity on different cases. Meanwhile, the musculus orbicularis oculi suspension was used at the outer lower part of eyebrow and the lateral margin of the orbit to correct the crow's feet. Proper pressure dressing was used for 1-2d postoperatively, the sutures were taken out in 7d. Results The upper eyelid laxity and crow's feet of the 58 cases were improved evidently. Postoperatively followed up for 6 months to 3 years, the outcomes were satisfied. Conclusion The combination of brow-lift (or brow-drop) surgery and musculus orbicularis oculi suspension is easy to operate and also available to correct the upper eyelid laxity and the crow's feet at the same time.关键词
