Abstract
Objective To study the effect of three kinds of peroxide bleaching agents on the structure and hardness of humanenamel. Methods 120 adult adult orthodontic teeth were randomly divided into control group A (0.9% saline, NS; n=30),experimental group B (22% urea peroxide, CP; n=30), experimental group C (30% hydrogen peroxide, HP; n=30) Experimentalgroup D (3% sodium perborate, SP; n=30) 4 group were observed. In the set conditions under the test, and measured the enamelstructure of the integrity and hardness of the situation. Results Compared with group A, the results of scanning electronmicroscopy in group B, group C and group D showed that enamel had different degree of demineralization, dissolution andcomplete reduction, but group B was better than group C and group D. Compared with group A, the hardness of group B, groupC and group D was lower than that of group A, but there was no significant difference between group B and group A (P>0.05).B group and C group and D group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Compared with group A and D, thedifference was statistically significant (P <0.05).CLSM results showed that the roughness of the enamel surfaces of group A,group B, C and D were all changed, compared with that in the control group (P< 0.05). Conclusion 22% urea peroxide has nosignificant effect on the integrity and hardness of enamel compared with 30% hydrogen peroxide and 3% sodium perborate, But ithas a certain effect on the tiny structure of the teeth, so it should be protected during the application of clinical tooth whitening.关键词
