Dental fear management and comfort dentistry: 15-year experience in a dental center in Peking Union Medical College Hospital

Abstract
In this article we reviewed the 15-years development of the Painless Dental Treatment Center in Peking Union Medical College Hospital.The features in poisoning,objective and architecture of the center were summarized,including multidisciplinary cooperation dominated by dental professionals,dental care team dominated by general and pediatric dentists,versatile dental nursing team,patients first always concept,the application of individualized and diversified dental sedation and analgesia techniques,setting the cure of dental fear as the long goals of treatment,integrations of research and training in clinical work,and promotion of comfort dentistry techniques to counterparts through national continuous education program to benefit patients eventually.关键词
