低温环境对生长猪气体能量代谢的影响
Effect of Low Temperature on the Gas Energy Metabolism of Growing Pigs

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of low temperature on gas energy metabolism of growing pigs and the tendency of substrate nutrient oxidation.A total of 12 castrated healthy boars(Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire(30±0.5)kg of body weight)were randomly divided into two treatments (23℃ and 13℃) with 6 replicates per treatment and 1 boar per replicate.The trial period was 22 days.The temperature of the pig house in the control group and the test group was slowly adjusted to 23℃ and 13℃from 18℃ at l℃ per hour.The results revealed that the comparison between the experimental group and the control group indicated that O2 consuming and CO2 production of pigs increased respectively 23.23% and 26.2%(P<0.01).The discharge quantity of metabolic weight of CO2 and metabolic weight of O2 increased respectively 28.67% and 31.77%(P<0.01),and the heat yield per hour and metabolic heat yield increased respectively 25.52% and 31.08%(P<0.01).To summarize,there were significant increase of gas energy metabolism of growing pigs in the low temperature and the production of CO2 and the consumption of O2 increased significantly.关键词
