摘要

Abstract

ASTM A588 is a high strength low alloy steel in the American Standard ASTM A588A/588M-15 for anti-atmospheric corrosion.Based on the structural design of the car body,research on technology test for the ASTM A588 high strength low alloy steel butt joints with different groove form,tensile and bending tests are conducted for 8HV and 4DHV groove welded joints at room temperature,and the low temperature impact test is conducted for the weld and heat affected zone at the temperature of-40℃.The results show that,the 8HV welded joint has high tensile strength,good plasticity and ductility,and has good low-temperature impact toughness,have reached the standard requirements of AWS D1.1-D1.1M-2015,recommend butt joints with a plate thickness of 8 mm and below have a single-sided groove form,provide a theoretical basis for the design of welding structure of vehicle body.
