Abstract

Hanjiang-to-Weihe River Valley Water Diversion Project is one of the important measures to alleviate the water shortage in Guanzhong Area and improve the ecology of Weihe River.The total water transfer amount and the water transfer benefit of the project are directly decided by the water transfer modes of Huangjinxia and Sanhekou reservoir group and pumping station group.Taking the yearly average water transfer amount of 1.5 billion m3 as the target,two water transfer modes,i.e.transferring water from Huangjinxia Reservoir at first and then additionally transferring water from Sanhekou Reservoir,and transferring water from Sanhekou Reservoir and then additionally transferring water from Huangjinxia Reservoir,are made up.Through a long series calculation,the evaluation indexes of all the items of the total water transfer amount,energy consumption of pumping station,power generation of hydropower station,etc.under different water transfer modes are compared.The study result shows that under the operation condition of transferring water from Huangjinxia Reservoir at first and then additionally transferring water from Sanhekou Reservoir,the water amount of 1.555 billion m3 can be transferred through Hanjiang-to-Weihe River Valley Water Diversion Project with the total cascade power generation of 0.553 billion kW · h and the total cascade energy consumption of 0.491 billion kW · h,for which the net power generation is positive,while under the operation condition of transferring water from Sanhekou Reservoir and then additionally transferring water from Huangjinxia Reservoir,the water amount of 1.445 billion m3 can be transferred through Hanjiang-to-Weihe River Valley Water Diversion Project with the total cascade power generation of 0.624 billion kW · h and the total cascade energy consumption of 1.086 billion kW · h,for which the net power generation is negative.The study result has an important reference value for the operation of Hanjiang-to-Weihe River Valley Water Diversion Project.
