Abstract

For the load-structure model,the analytical solution for the internal water pressure distribution of the surrounding rock after tunneling during construction is deduced out according to seepage theory under the premise of the axisymmetric assumption on the surrounding rock of deeply buried tunnel on the basis of the relevant in situ measured data,and then the correlation between the stable far-field water-head and the radius of it is studied,thus the concept and method for inversing the stable far-field water-head and the radius of it through the monitoring data of the in situ groundwater pressure of surrounding rock are proposed.By taking the tunnel through the mountain-crossing section of Hanjiang-to-Weihe River Valley Water Diversion Project as the study case,the initial water pressures of a part of tunnel sections therein and the radiuses of the stable far-field water-heads formed after tunneling are analyzed in accordance with the monitoring data of the groundwater pressure during the construction,from which the external water load on the lining structure can be obtained.The results show that stable far-field water-heads and radiuses of influence can be calculated as long as water pressure of ceratain depth in the tunnel surrounding rock is measured.For example,the water head in the depth 14 m of the surrounding rock of the section K77 +993 is 10.50 m,therefore the stable farfield water head is 39.65 m and the influnece radius is 43.65 m.The relevant references can also be provide for the drainage design concerned.
