摘要

Abstract

In order to study T-shaped tube hydroforming process,the 2.5mm thick sheet tube (QSTE340)was chosen as the test objective.A detailed study about the effects of inner fluid pressure,axial loading and their loading paths on the limit budging depth was carried out through the combination of theoretical and numerical methodologies.Firstly,the optimal values of the inner pressure and axial loading parameters were obtained with analytical method,and then some simulations with ABAQUS were conducted in order to investigate their different contributions.It is found that some good budging shapes are obtained with these optimal values,and the great influence of the loading paths on the forming process was also proved.The convex shaped axial loading and concave shaped inner pressure are recommended in the T-shaped tube hydroforming process.The T-shaped tube hydroforming factors and gives some guidance for manufacturing high quality T-shaped tube products.
