考虑通勤距离的职住分离测度方法
Measurement of Jobs-Housing Separation Based on Commuting Distance

Abstract
The total demand of commuting travel can be greatly reduced by lowering the degree of jobs-housing separation.Widely used existing measurement of separation based on jobs-housing ratio and balance by zone has obvious limitations especially in terms of arbitrary selection of zonal scale and boundary isolation.This study provides a new measurement method by comparing estimated residential density calculated by a function with commuting distance as independent variable with the residential density data from surveys.The function for estimating residential density coordinated with the distribution of commuting travel distance and the expected trip length of the function is equal to the average commuting travel distance derived from surveys.The limitation of zone definition and boundary isolation can be removed as the function continues in distance.The method has been tested by using the population and economic census data of Shanghai.The mobile phone signaling data have been used to verify the test result together with the practice experiences.The result corresponds to the characters of Shanghai's industrial,commercial and residential distribution and reveals that the job-housing separation and commuting distance are impacted by density of jobs and residents.The study will inform both theory and practice in urban planning.关键词
