Coordination operation strategy for the combined system of modern trams and buses
摘要
Abstract
Transfer coordination is the key technology for the coordination operation of modern trams and buses. This paper proposed a coordination operation strategy for trams and buses based on the transfer rules for the road-middle trams and the road-shoulder trams respectively. For the purpose of minimizing the general cost of the combined transit system, a coordination operation model was developed by defining the coordination operation parameters. A numerical example shows that the coordination strategy can effectively reduce the transfer cost and the general cost of the transit system as well as improve the transit service level.关键词
