抗菌肽抗原虫作用研究进展
PROGRESS ON ANTIPROTOZOA ACTIVITY OF ANTIMICROBIAL PEPTIDES
摘要
Abstract
Antimicrobial peptides are a kind of bioactive peptide substance produced by innate immune system of hosts in response to invading pathogens, which is an important component of the innate immune system. They have broad-spectrum activity against many pathogens(antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic and antitumor). Protozoa are single-cell eukaryotes, pathogenic protozoa can cause serious harm on human health and animal husbandry production. Studies have shown that antimicrobial peptides can inhibit the growth and development of protozoa and even kill protozoa. In this paper, the types, mechanism and application prospect of antimicrobial peptides were reviewed in order to provide the theoretical basis for the development of new broad-spectrum antiprotozoa drugs.关键词
