Study of Extracting Docked Ships Based on SIFT Matching Algorithm and Visual Saliency

Abstract
In terms of current challenges on docked ships detection,this paper gives a feasible method based on SIFT match-ing algorithm and visual saliency for the ships docked in the port.Firstly,with the invariability of position and the prior information, the ports will be searched and located by SIFT feature in remote sensing image.Secondly,the algorithm of visual saliency will be used for image enhancement to get the better contrast effect between ships and non-ships areas.In the last part,horizontal or verti-cal scanning method is applied to segment the ships based on the docked rules.The experimental results show that it is an effective way.关键词
