Effect of short-term large dose glucocorticoid shock therapy combined with other immunosuppressive agents on the treatment of patients with myasthenia gravis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of short-term large dose glucocorticoid shock therapy combined with other immunosuppressive agents in treating myasthenia gravis.Methods Totally 80 patients with myasthenia gravis were selected.The patients in the control group were given glucocorticoid,while the patients in the experimental group were treated with short-term large dose glucocorticoid shock therapy combined with immunosuppressive agents.Quantitative myasthenia gravis score,the overall therapeutic effect,quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the score of each dimension of quantitative myasthenia gravis symptom and efficiency rate were significantly higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.05),and score of each dimension of quality of life and total incidence rate of adverse reaction were significantly lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Short-term large dose glucocorticoid shock therapy combined with other immunosuppressive agents is effective in treating myasthenia gravis.关键词
