摘要
Abstract
This paper uses the microwave sintering process method to prepare Al2O3/TiC ceramic tool material and researches on the effects of TiC content and sintering temperature on alumina based ceramic tool material microstructure and mechanical properties. The results show that the comprehensive mechanical properties of the cutting tool material are the best when its sintering temperature is at 1 700 ℃ and the content of TiC is 30%. The vickers hardness and fracture toughness of the tool are 20.46 GPa and 4.90 MPa·m1/2. Microstructure analysis shows that TiC can be pinned at the grain boundaries,and the appropriate amount of TiC parti-cles can improve the uniformity of the materials and the mechanical properties of the tool.关键词
