摘要

Abstract

WRKY transcription factor family exists widely in plants and has a wide range of regulation effects for a variety of physiological processes in plants,and occupys a very important position in plant transcription factor family.In this study,a WRKY gene,designated as CsWRKY3,was cloned from tea plants,and the open reading frame of CsWRKY3 was 1 710 bp,which encoded 569 amino acids.The results of real-time PCR showed that CsWRKY3 was highly expressed in roots,leaves and flowers,but was weakly expressed in stems and seeds.CsWRKY3 was quickly induced and expressed significantly when the leaves of tea plant were damaged by mechanical damage or eaten by the Ectropis obliqua larvae.This study showed that the CsWRKY3 was involved in defense response against insect pests of tea.
