Abstract
Objective:To introduce the Paediatric Renal Caregiver Burden Scale(PR-CBS)and to provide a measurement tool for the comprehensive evaluation of children with kidney disease burden of caregivers,and test their reliability and validity.Methods:The translation and cultural adjustment of the original scale was strictly followed by a cross-cultural debug guide.A total of 304 caregiv-ers of children's kidney disease were selected and investigated.Statistical analysis was carried out by SPSS1 8.0 software and to test the reliability and validity of scale.Results:The Cronbach's alpha coefficient Chinese version of PR-CBS was 0.962,the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of each dimension was 0.779-0.906;the test-retest reliability was 0.870.The validity of the structure was good,a total of 6 common factors were extracted from the factor analysis,and it could explain 60.631% of the total variance.The content va-lidity of the scale was 0.870.Conclusions:The Chinese version of PR-CBS had good reliability and validity.It was suitable for the burden assessment of children's kidney disease caregivers under Chinese cultural background.关键词
