摘要

Abstract

In order to study the influence of wheel-rail material hardness matching on wheel polygonal wear and find a wheel-rail material hardness matching relationship to avoid wheel polygonal wear,the polygonal wear tests of wheel specimens with the wheel-rail material of low,medium and high hardness under 9 kinds of hardness matching were carried out on small scale twin-wheel test rig for rolling contact wear in dry condition.Results show that,when the wheel-rail material hardness ratio is less than 1.05,16 order polygonal wear occurs on the wheel specimen significantly.The coupling vibration frequency of wheel specimen and rail specimen is 53.3 Hz,and the radial beat of the polygonal wear on the wheel specimen reduces gradually with the increase of the hardness ratio of wheel-rail materials.When the wheel-rail material hardness ratio is greater than 1.36,there is almost no polygonal wear on the wheel specimen.There is no obvious polygonal wear on the rail specimen under 9 kinds of hardness matching.
