Abstract
Magnesium-rare earth alloy has broad prospects because of its excellent mechanical properties under room and high temperature. This paper introduces the effects of rare earth elements on casting properties, microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of magnesium-rare earth alloy, and the development status of Mg-Y and Mg-Gd magnesium-rare earth alloy.LPSO has been described in detail based on the study of Mg-Y(-RE)-Zn and Mg-Gd(-RE)-Zn alloy. How to improve the strength, toughness, high temperature performance and corrosion resistance of magnesium-rare earth alloy,how to solve the problems of high cost preparation and environmental pollution,and how to establish a green industry chain still need further scientific study.关键词
