Abstract

In order to investigate the effect of poly phosphoric acid (PPA) compound SBS modified asphalt composition on its viscoelasticity,PPA compound SBS modified asphalt were prepared by high-speed shear method in the lab and SK90# matrix asphalt,SBS modifier,extraction oil,stabilizer,PPA,dibutyl phthalate (DBP) as the raw material.Based on the orthogonal design,the viscoelastic properties of modified asphalt were analyzed by dynamic shear rheological.The results show that with the increase of temperature,the anti-rutting factor of PPA compound SBS modified asphalt is decreased which indicated that the lower elasticity and the anti-permanent deformation capacity.On the other hand,the phase angle and viscosity of asphalt are increased which indicated irreversible deformation ability of asphalt improved.It is exhibited that the viscoelastic and rheological properties of PPA compound SBS modified asphalt is better which is compounded by the 0.5% poly phosphoric acid and the maximum dosage (both for level 3) of other components in modified asphalt.It is also exhibited that the performance of PPA compound SBS modified asphalt is the best when the dosage of PPA,SBS,extraction oil and DBP is 0.5%,4%,2%,2%.
