Epigenetic regulation in dental pulp stem cells

Abstract
Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) are adult stem cells with self-renewal ability and multiple differentiation potential. These cells play an important role in dental pulp repair, tooth regeneration, and bone tissue engineering. Epigenetics refers to heritable changes in gene expression without alteration of DNA sequence; these changes include DNA methylation, histone modification, and non-coding RNA regulation. Epigenetic modification plays an important role in regulation of DPSCs by influencing gene transcription. Thus, this study aims to elaborate epigenetic regulations of DPSCs.关键词
