A series of 1D chain assembled from squarate and 2,2'-bipyridine ligands: syntheses,structures, third-order nonlinear optical and fluorescent properties

Abstract
Three neutral one dimensional coordination polymer 1,2 and 3 [M(C4O1)(C10 H8N2)(H2O)2] · 2H2O (M=Zn2+ Cu2+ or Cd2+) have been synthesized by H2C4O4 and 2,2'bipyridine co-ligands.All complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis,IR,single crystal X-ray diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and UV-vis spectra.All metal ions in the polymers have six coordinate pseudooctahedral structures with two pyridyl nitrogen atoms,two squarate oxygen atoms and two waters.The complexes with d1D metals exhibit a strong emission band with the maximum intensity at 374.5 nm and 464.5 nm.The third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) property of the Cu2+ complex was also investigated by single beam Z-scan techniques.关键词
