Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of elastic intramedullary nailing in the treatment of ulnar and radial fractures in children. Methods The 48 cases of ulnar and radius fractures in children were treated with elastic intramedullary nailing internal fixation,and the fracture healing,complications and functional recovery were observed after operation. Results All patients were followed up for 2~18 months. Callus formation was observed at 1 month after operation,and skin irritation occurred in 3 cases,and disappeared with drawal of nailing.No delayed healing, incisional infection and iatrogenic nerve injury occurred. At 6 months after the operation,the Grace-Enversman fore-arm fracture evaluation standard was used to evaluate the curative effect:excellent 42 cases,good 4 and fair 2,with the excellent and good rate of 96%. Conclusions The use of elastic intramedullary nailing in the treatment of chil-dren with ulnar and radial fractures has less trauma,fewer complications and faster postoperative recovery. It is a bet-ter surgical treatment for children with of ulna and radius fractures.关键词
