摘要

Abstract

With polypropylene (PP) as the base resin,silicon carbide (SiC) as the thermal conductive filler,and maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP-g-MAH) as the compatibilizer,the thermal conductive PP/SiC composites were prepared by using a twin screw extruder.The effects of the content of SiC and PP-g-MAH,and the addition of titanate coupling agent on thermal conductive and mechanical properties of the composites were studied.The results show that the conductive properties of the PP/SiC composites increase with the increasing content of SiC or PP-g-MAH,but the mechanical properties change little.Both the PP-g-MAH and titanate coupling agent can increase the interfacial adhesion between thermal conductive filler and matrix,moreover,they have synergistic effect when used together,and the thermal conductivity of PP/SiC composites and dispersion of SiC can be obviously improved.
