Research on Trends Accelerating Technology Adoption in Academic Libraries:An Interpretation of New Media Consortium Horizon Report(2017 Library Edition)

Abstract
Based on the compares and analyzes the trends involved in the New Media Consortium Horizon Report,Library Edition published in 2014, 2015 and 2017. It also introduces six trends mentioned in 2017 library edition, including cross-institution collaboration, evolving nature of the scholarly record, patrons as creators, rethinking library spaces, research data management, and valuing the user experience. With the combination of the new progress in library technology application at home and abroad, this paper puts forward some suggestions in strengthening the library's cross organization and cross-institution collaboration and cross-boundary cooperation, innovating library services based on academic communication activities, constructing makerspace to promote patrons as creators, deepening the content of research data management service, paying attention to users' personalized experience service and enhancing it.关键词
