Application of B-scan in estrus detection and early diagnosis of pregnancy in horses
摘要
Abstract
Rectal B-scan has advantages in determination of estrus and early diagnosis of pregnancy in horses.In order to help more people working in horse breeding to understand this application of B-scan,the present author has collected many typical B-scan images in the past years of work and attempts here to elaborate on the method of rectal palpation by B-scan specifically used in horse breeding practice.The selected B-scan images included those of bladder,uterus,cornua uteri and ovary of the studied animals,all being with detailed description.关键词
