Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical effects between the improved LIFT procedure and the incision thread drawing procedure in the treatment of complex anal fistula. Methods A total of 108 patients with complex anal fistula admitted into our hospital were taken as the subjects for the research and were divided into two groups:an observation group and a control group(n=54,respectively).For the former group, the improved LIlT procedure was performed;for the latter group, the conventional incision thread drawing procedure was performed. The curative effects as well as the disease recovery, complications, recurrence rate and other indicators were compared between the groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment showed no significant difference between the observation group (98.15%) and the control group (92.59%) (P > 0.05);the indicators, including the hospital stays, wound healing period, wound healing area,Wexner scores of prognosis and post-operation 7d VAS scores, were superior to those of the control group (P < 0.05);the differences in complication incurrence and recurrence were not significant between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion In comparison with the incision thread drawing procedure in the treatment of complex anal fistula, the improved LIlT procedure can effectively shorten the hospital stays and the wound healing period of the patient, reduce post-operation pains, and generally maintain anal functions.关键词
