Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between chronic atrophic gastritis and sarcopenia in senile people.Methods A total of 163 patients aged over 70 with chronic gastritis treated as outpatients or hospitalized at the Department of Gastroenterology in our hospital were chosen as the subjects for research,and were divided into a chronic non-atrophic gastritis group and a chronic atrophic gastritis group to compare the differences in body mass index(BMI),MNA-SF scores,prealbumin,albumin and sarcopenia and analyze the correlation between chronic atrophic gastritis and sarcopenia.Results The HP positive rate of the chronic atrophic gastritis group was significantly higher than that of the chronic non-atrophic gastritis group (P ＜ 0.05) while BMI,MNA scores,albumin and prealbumin contents were significantly lower than those of the chronic non-atrophic gastritis group (P ＜ 0.05).The chronic atrophic gastritis group was significantly inferior to the chronic non-atrophic gastritis group in grip,leg speed and RASM (P ＜0.05).The chronic non-atrophic gastritis group showed a significantly lower sarcopenia incidence (12.3％) than the chronic atrophic gastritis group (20.39％)(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Senile patients with chronic atrophic gastritis show a high HP infection rate,poor nutritious condition and high incidence of sarcopenia.These patients shall obtain more nutritious support and be subject to HP infection monitoring,and anti-HP treatment when necessary.关键词
