Abstract
The activated carbon was prepared using sesame stalk as raw material and potassium hydrox-ide as activating agent. The specific surface area, pore size and methylene blue adsorption of the activated car-bon were characterized. The influences of some factors including dosage of the sesame stalk activated car-bon, pH, adsorption time, adsorption temperature and initial concentration of disperse blue 2BLN on the ad-sorption property were studied. The results showed that BET, total pore volume, average pore size and methy-lene blue adsorption were 1 239 m2/g, 1.05 mL/g, 3.64 nm and 150 mL/g, respectively. The remove rate was maximized to 85% when the treated object was 50 mL of 300 mg/L disperse blue 2BLN wastewater, the dos-age of active carbon was 0.3 g, pH=10, adsorption time was 90 min, adsorption temperature was 40 ℃. The adsorption process of the sesame stalk active carbon with disperse blue 2BLN followed the Langmuir adsorp-tion isotherm model.关键词
