Abstract
Dietary fiber has been considered an anti-nutritional factor in poultry.However,moderate amounts of dietary fiber might improve effectively poultry nutrition and health.The nutrition function and action mechanism for dietary fiber with complex composition are differed with various sources.In the review,the concepts and properties of dietary fiber were presented,subsequently its effects on digestive physiology,intestinal health and production in poultry were discussed.The regulation mechanism of dietary fiber on poultry nutrition should be clarified so as to provide scientific instructions for its efficient utilization in poultry production.关键词
