摘要

Abstract

There are plenty of exciting explorations in otology research recently.Advanced microscopic imaging technology provides the opportunity to study ultrastructure of the inner ear,which could accelerate the synaptopathy re-search. Well-established in vivo operations ensure that systemic hearing studies are performed without damaging the hearing pathway function.Single cell labeling and sorting approach have promoted the accuracy and standardization of inner ear hair cell regeneration study.The recent progress in gene editing technology and delivery methods development greatly has improved the efficiency of gene manipulation,which facilitates gene therapy for hearing loss.We all are in-spired by these achievements in basic and translational research in otology.
