摘要

Abstract

High power and low cost are the advantages of High pressure sodium lamps (HPS). HPS has been widely applied in supplemental lighting for plant in greenhouse. As a prospective lighting source, light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are expected to has a rapid development and show tremendous potential in supplemental lighting systems for plant. Many researchers have analysed the performance characteristics of high pressure sodium lamps and LEDs in plant lighting applications. In this paper,we try to systematically review these research results and illustrate the characteristics of high-pressure sodium lamp and LED in supplemental lighting for plants.
