Lightweight Web Visualization of Massive DSM Data

Abstract
Light weight Web visualization of massive DSM data is one of the frontier problems of Web3DGIS.Aiming at the bottle neck problems such as the low efficiency and poor interaction of existing Web visualization methods,a feasible approach based on WebGL technique for lightweight Web visualization of massive DSM data is proposed in this paper.The critical technologies of data organization and management,dynamic scheduling and adaptive selection of LODs are optimized systematically,and the lightweight Web visualization algorithm of DSM is then designed and implemented.In the experiment,a prototype software is employed for typical DSM.The experimental results show that the real-time visual frame rate is stablished at about 40 FPS which demonstrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.关键词
