Abstract
AbStract:The corrosion ot negative grid (Pb-Ca alloy) and positive grid (Pb-Ca-Sn-Al alloy) under fumed silica (F-SiO2) gel was studied by means of Tafel polarization,cyclic voltammetey and constant voltage corrosion tests.The results show that the corrosion current of negative grid sharply increases and corrosion inhibitor efficiency significantly decreases when F-SiO2 content exceeds 5%.Moreover,the corrosion rate of positive grid is the lowest when F-SiO2 content is 6%.Based on the two aspects,the F-SiO2in colloidal electrolyte shows an extreme (tuming)concentration effect,and the value is 5%-6%.The result is important for the development of F-SiO2 as gelling agent and the design of colloidal electrolyte formula.关键词
