摘要

Abstract

The relationship between milled carbon fiber materials and low temperature performance of valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery for alpine area substation was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and charge discharge test.The research shows that when a certain amount of carbon fiber is added into the VRLA battery cathode,not only the cycle life of the battery can be extended,but also the low temperature discharge performance can be improved,and the low temperature charge acceptance ability can be reduced.The carbon fiber can make the particle distribution of cathode plate more uniform and refinable,and make PbO content in crude cathode plate increase and the impurities in cooked plate reduce.
