Wannier-Stark Ladder in One Dimension Photonic Crystal Couple Microcavity with Anisotropic Left Handed Materials

Abstract
One dimension photonic crystal coupled microcavity structure with anisotropic left handed materials is investigated by means of the transfer matrix method. It is shown that two kinds of mini-bands are formed in the structure. One is conventional Bragg miniband, the other is zero mean re-fractive index miniband. When modulating the thickness of the cavity,two type minibands turn into two type of Wannier-Stark ladder. The transmission and period of oscillation are found to decrease with the increasing gradient factor.关键词
