摘要

Abstract

The adsorbent for As(V)ion removal was prepared by using diatomite as matrix, γ-propylalkoxysilane(APES)as the modifier.The highest removal rate of 87.11% was observed at the optimal modification conditions: modified diatomite 3 g, APES 4 mL, pH =11, reaction time 6 h, reaction temperature 30 ℃.The scanning electron microscopy(SEM)observation showed that the diatomite matrix did not change before and after modification.The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR)analysis proved the disappearance of hydroxyl group and the appearance of-NH2.Besides,the adsorption of As(V)ions on adsorbent obeys the Freundlich model and the pseudo second-order equation.
